We fly November and a friend of mine has asked if we can bring back golf clubs for him. I have no objection as he will save £100's. My question is how much will Virgin charge for these clubs bearing in mind I don't fly out with them, only back?:thumbsup2

Are you buying a complete set?? If you are just buying a set of irons, they will be boxed up for you, if you ask. If he wants a complete set, you'll have to think about how you are carrying them home! You'll need a bag (as previous poster said) but you'll also need an outer travel bag too! Could get quite costly!
If you only take one bag out with you, you can bring the clubs back as your second piece of luggage!
Also remember, you will be using a fair portion of your 'allowance' to bring a set of clubs back into the country. You might be lucky and have no customs officers about when you return, but then again... you might not!!!
Good luck!!

Ow! looks like we will be paying an excess charge for our fishing gear - will let you know how much when it happens:rotfl2:
