Golf carts at Fort Wilderness campground?

Hi,
When we were at Disneyworld at Christmas, we visited the campground. We saw golf carts there. Do these come with your site or do you rent them seperately? If they are rented seperately how much do they rent for? Also, does anyone know what the AP rates are for the campground, it they are available? We are probably going to go in October this year.

When we stayed at FW in May 2000, we learned that the golf carts are available for rent but extremely hard to get unless reserved in advance. They were parked at the General Store so that >>may<< be where they are rented. I would call Guest Services to find out the details - Oct might be a great time to snag one.

Golf carts are rented from the Bike Barn, they are expensive considering they are only a cart not a car! 46.00 a day to rent. We used to rent them on every trip but since the price is so high a 10 day trip is another 460.00 dollars. We have learned to enjoy Fw without them. They used to offer half price specials during slow seasons. Several times we checked in and there was a flyer in our room with sale prices.
