Golf Cart Subforum?

Does anyone think there should be a golf cart subforum? I checked the camping board today to see half of the first page is golf cart questions. I understand this is a big part of a lot of people's FW experience but would it make sense to have all the information/threads in one spot? Just a suggestion!

The reason there are so many golf cart threads on the first page is because there is a new member named juliegolf that JUST joined that is bumping all the threads to the top. All 14 of her new posts are a phone number to a golf cart rental company that she is promoting.

The Mods might jump in a put a stop to it; it's kinda obvious what's going on.

Thanks I had not noticed that! I was wondering why all of a sudden there were a million golf cart threads right at the top. Hopefully this will get nixed.

It must have worked cause I have not seen any posts of the DISimposter. I am a newbie to FW (canceled my ressies at WL for the Cabins at FW when my parents decided to join us) and have been lurking here. I absolutely love this thread and if my experience next month with FW is as great as you all have described, then this will be my new favorite place.

I rented a golf cart from Kenny because of all the rave reviews from here and I can't wait for next month. Thanks to all the FW DISers out there keeping me informed, it helps alot, especially when I have a special needs child I have to plan for.

It is ashamed some people have to go to this type of tactic to promote their business. For me it causes a negative reaction. It would not be a company (the phone number this person is pushing belongs to Custom Carriages Inc) that I would trust or consider doing business with.

I host a forum for my brand RV and spend a lot of time eliminating fake users such as juliegolf who do not care about the Forum, just there own personal agenda. I tag them as Spammers and they are deleted.

Hopefully one of the Advanced Forum Members will be able to contact a Moderator and they will delete the questionable posts.

aww man. that was the company i was thinking of using cause they have the best rate for the 6 passenger golf cart. kenny only has four person carts and we need the 6 person. but i dont want to promote a company that would pull a stunt like that. is there another company that is reliable that would have the 6 person. that is just wrong that someone would do that they were already getting enough credit by others.

You might want to check with Kenny, I understand that he has acquired some 6-seater golf carts. Give him a call again.

that is great news. I have heard that he is really good. I actually havent called yet since our trip isnt til Dec of 2012. So I was doing research. Another member had shared her blog or website with me for info about the fort since I am a newbie. So I will definitely look into using Kenny.

yes but that is the company that they were saying was spamming the post with his number. i dont like companies that use those kind of tactics. this is a fun place to come to to find out info and for a company to break the rules and post stuff like that is wrong.
