Golf cart rental

Thanks! It went very smoothly, except for the pouring rain! Thank goodness he has rain flaps on the cart! His associate, Doug, met us in the parking lot and unloaded it for me. He was professional and nice. So far, so good!

I hope the rain stops & you have a great vacation! :wizard: The rain flaps sound perfect!

Does anyone have a picture of one of Kenny's carts? I reserved a cart with him for Halloween this year and he explained that the canopy does not extend over the rear passengers and neither do the rain flaps, so I am just confused about what his carts look like. (BTW, I told him that was no big deal since my boys would be sitting back there and would probably like riding in the rain.)

I also would like to see a picture of Kenny's golf cart as well as the one WDW rents.

I don't have a side shot, but the roof does not extend back over the rear seat - hence no rain flaps for the extra passengers...

You're welcome :)
FWIW that was in November. We and friends visited 4 carts total. There was a black one in the mix IIRC, but it was basically the same and had the same rain gear.

Thanks for the picture. :goodvibes Did you put the rain flaps down every day or just use the towel to wipe the seats down?

We just use a towel to wipe our seats down -- if it's a sunny day the seats dry quickly from the nighttime dew. If going out and about early we just kept an old towel nearby and dried off the seats quickly. However -- don't forget to wipe down the roof quickly too or the backseat passengers may get wet!! ;) We love our golf carts from Kenny and we plan to rent again in October!

We leave the towel on ours for 2 reasons - even though we don't get a lot of rain when we go in November, it's good for wiping off the dew in the evenings, plus it's bright orange and makes it easier to spot our cart in a crowd. ;)

... I snarfed my water, tears rolled down my face and I couldn't make a coherent sentence to explain myself because I was laughing too much. DH's response? "It's another one of those DIS things, huh?" and rolled his eyes.....

Since Disneylocal validated my ad-hoc application as the Disney Grammer Popo, I have to throw a flag on you Mumto2. I went to the official source of all Disney Grammer, my old 12-volume edition of my mother's Funk & Wagnell's Dictionairy. "Snarfed"? What is snarfed? I have this bad vision of you choking, snorting, and blowing h20 in the wrong direction. I can't have that in my mind. So you must use smaller words, simpler sentences, and straightforward lingo so the 'locals can keep up with you.

Don't let it happen again! :teacher::upsidedow

PS-tell DH to get his own login and get his bu++ on the Camping DisBoard

Uh oh... now I have to worry about Jen swiping our towel. :rotfl:
