Golf Balls at OKW

I wanted to start a random thread about golf balls. We spent the weekend at OKW and were surprised at how many golf balls we found right next to our door and patio. We ended up with a total of 6 over 2 nights.

Wait until one slams into the side of the building on an upper floor. It sounds like a small explosion. Sure made me jump.

We always have a golf course view, but have been lucky enough not to be hit (top floor), although I watched someone come through the bushes at dusk to look for golf balls...looked like a local...called the front desk...I mean the bushes were three feet deep at the point they were walking through!

I shanked a 5-iron into a Tree House Villa off of 17 at Lake Buena Vista. It landed and stayed on the deck, a teenager threw it back onto the fairway. We laughed because when he threw it back it went behind the point of where it left the course, thus very similar to the drop spot. Still took the one stroke penalty, but made bogey from there.

Kinda makes those palm trees around the balcony look not so bad, huh? I remember one year, a golf ball came flying in while I was sitting on the balcony, and I was so grateful for it getting hung up in the palm tree.

I think that is OB. You should have hit from where you shanked it.
