Golf at SSR? Photos?

Thinking about checking out the course at SSR. Anyone have any info about it, would love pics!! I believe its called Lake Buena Vista Course.

My husband and son golfed there in January. They had a great time. This is the second time they golfed at this course. We were staying at Old Key West, so it was like golfing in their own backyard

DH says it's a little challenging, but not the hardest course out there. Is there anything in particular you want to know?

We golf there every January. It's a great course. Go to Disneyworld.com then under
"More Magic" go to "Golf". It has a Virtual tour and info about the course. It's
clubhouse is at Saratoga Springs. You can go upstairs after for a cold drink and a game
of pool in the Turf Club! Enjoy!

DH has golfed there several times and loves it! Of the 5 18 hole golf courses, it's the least expensive, and he feels it's the "best buy". Another website that has lots of info on all the WDW courses is www.wdwgolf.com

Here is a map of the LBV course. It opened in 1971. Holes 10/11/17/18 are all in the area of the Phase III Grandstand area at SSR to open in 2007.

Holes #3/4/5/6/7/8 wind thru OKW, holes 1/2/9 are along the walkway from OKW to DD and 12/13/14/15/16 are across Disney Vacation Club Way (used to be Community Drive) from SSR. The clubhouse is next to the SSR marina.

Dairyou...thank you soooo much for the pics. I am so excited about playing there. I am new to the game, hubby has been playing for about 2 years.

I just played it last Wed, it's my favorite of all the Disney courses and I think it's the easiest, but plenty challenging.
If your planning to play more than once or will be within a year it would be best to get to DVC golf membership.

Looks like you already got some pictures to view! I enjoyed the course a lot, we've played it a few times during our stays at SSR - it is so convienent to be right there!!!!

Probably not the most challenging of the Disney courses, but golf at Disney - does it get any better??? Enjoy!
