golden mickey ears

we booked a trip today and our travel agent gave each of my children a Golden Mickey Ears hat. They are definetly offical, as they had a price tag of 11.50 in each hat. If I bring them with me to WDW can I have their names put on them?

Whenever I've purchased ears at one store with the intention of having them embroidered at another store I've had to show the cash register receipt.

You will need the receipt if you intend to have them embroidered. Since the hats are available in every store, the only way they can tell that you didn't just pick them up and walk over to the embroidery area is to see your receipt.
