Golden Mickey Ears

I lost all of my possesions due to Hurrican Katrina. We went to Disney in June 2005 and I got the Gold Mickey Mouse ears that I had been waiting months for. I had them embroidered and everything. We are finally going back at the end of this year and I was wondering if there was any way to get some new ears...NEW GOLD EARS ? I want to get these the same way or close to what I had before. Can you get them online or do I have to hope and pray that they still have them in December?

They are beginning to phase out the Gold Ears because the celebration ends in September. I am seeing fewer and fewer available. If you really want them, you might want to call WDW merchandising and have them sent to you. You can always take them back with you to have them embroidered.

how would someone get in touch with merchandising?

DD4 got a pair of the gold minnie ears 3 weeks ago and lost them at the park somewhere and has been very upset because her sisters have their ears---I would like to be able to get her another pair but have no clue where to get them---I checked ebay but no luck!

Our fellow DISers are wonderful people. If you made a request of them and offered to pay for all expenses involved I'm sure some one would be able to pick up golden ears for you.

Once I asked a DISer to get a guest of honor badge for me. I emailed a message to her from her DIS profile. I paypaled her a fee that we agreed on before she left on her trip. She found a badge at a Orlando outlet store and sent it to me when she got home. Since she got it so cheap she even sent me a paypal credit. I only paid the price of the badge and the postage. I really love that badge and every time I see it it reminds me of my wonderful DIS family.

If I were going soon I would be happy to help, but sorry I am not.

Last week when there all the gold stuff was starting to go on clearence. I fear it will not be there in December.

I honestly have no clue... but you can get them at Disneyland! I think... or was it only last year.. I know for a fact DL had them last year, because I have them. =)
