Hi All !

Does anyone know if you can get Priority seating for the Golden Horseshoe

We always seem to stumble across it , but it never has any openings.:headache: Doh! So am determined to get in this time!

Also any comments on the food or show.. I went to the one in WDW about 25-30 years ago as a kid and had a blast .

Thanks!

No priority seating. We just go 20 - 30 minutes before the show and have a snack and something to drink or if it's around mealtime we grab lunch or dinner.

Thanks ! Sounds like I just gotta plan ahead this time! :surfweb:

Anyone with a recent review. good or bad

Billy Hill and the Hillbillies: Terrific! Don't miss!

Laughingstock Company: Forget it.

We just saw Billie Hill and the Hillbillies last week and my kids loved it. DH and I had seen it before, but had never taken the kidlets. Our 7 year old laughed out loud with some snorting - he thought they were that funny. The show is not the same every time, either. DH and I saw it last July and the jokes and the music were different this trip. We would do it again and so would our kids.

We took our own lunch and got a balcony seat and rested and ate lunch while we waited about 30 minutes for the show to start. The show times are listed in the times guide, so you can plan when you want to see it.

Awsome folks thanks a lot!..

Looks like I lucked out as "Billy Hill & the Hillbillies" will be playing most of the days we're there. :cool1: according to the disneyland site schedule anyway.

Billy Hill is really amazing. It's one of my top favorite things at disney.

We did get Priority Seating for Billy Hill when "Year of a Million Dreams" was still going on. We got it as "Magical Moment" from a CM. Not sure if this is still being done though.

We were just there 2 days ago! Definately no priority seating. Loved the show, but the food line was very long and slow. Arrive during the show prior to the time you want to sit down so you can stand in line for your food. The place was packed, but as soon as the show ends mostly everyone got up and there were free tables. During the show there wasn't a table to be found and noone left during the show. As soon as the show ended we easily found a table, but they filled up fast. Since we waited in line during 1 show and then sat during the next, I thought it would be a repeat, but there were some differences b/w the 2 shows.

I recall that there were tables available about 30 minutes before showtime.

But no tables were available about 15 minutes before showtime.

(This was last summer, when DL was busy, but not 'crazy busy.')

I don't mind waiting for the Billy Hill show. I find the Golden Horseshoe to be a great place to take a break, especially during the hot afternoons in the summer. The air conditioning in the GH is very cool. :upsidedow

You can buy food inside the GH (menu), or at the nearby Stage Door Cafe (menu), or you can carry in any kind of snacks, foods, and drinks from anywhere. I've heard that some people carry in food from Rancho del Zocalo (menu).
