Is it just me who gets REALLY excited about awards show season? (probably lol)

The season was kicked off with the Golden Globes last night.

Anyone watch?
Favourite moments?
Were you happy with the winners?
Whose dresses did you love/hate?


I was generally REALLY happy with the winners....except Vicky Cristina Barcelona winning best comedy!!

My girl Kate Winslet took home TWO awards! yayy
And Slumdog Millionaire swept! woohoo.

The SAG awards are next up. Can't wait.

I watched.
I was really happy Wall-E won best animated movie, and that Heath Ledger won an award too.
Kate Winslet was so cute when she won, she was so nervous she was shaking!
I also laughed when James Franco got nominated for Pineapple Express in best actor in a comedy or musical

I was glad Heath Leger won too. And Wall-e!!
And I was glad Bruce Springsteen won best song. I told my mom I would stop watching if Miley Cyrus won lol. (ugh she makes me so mad!!) (i have to say she looks nice though)

I got seriously depressed when Christopher Nolan accepted for Heath. It made his death that much more real.

I wonder if Chris will accept for him at the Oscars, too...

I get SO excited for awards seasons. Every time an awards show is on I make sure to be READY for it! I watch the red carpets and the entire show. I have issues

Anyways, the Globes were AWESOME last night! I was so happy Heath won and KATE WINSLET!!! OMG. Her speech for Revolutionary Road was the best of the night! I almost cried. I LOVE her so much! She deserved both of her awards, she's LONG overdue. I was thinking about how excited you must be that she won Caitlin I wanted to jump up and down...I was so happy for her.

Oh yea! The dresses....I hated what J.Lo wore.

I thought Kate Winslet looked nice (but when doesn't she...she's so classy!)

I liked the bottom of Drew Barrymore's dress but I thought her hair was kinda messy and the top part of the dress wasn't my favorite.

I liked Rumer Willis' dress.

Anne Hathaway looked lovely.

Cameron Diaz...OMG...I did not like that dress. Too much going on. It was a great color on her though.

Penelope Cruz looked great as did Salma Hayek.

Blake Lively's dress was too small for her.

Miley's dress was nice but it's been seen soo many times at soo many award shows, starting with Jennifer Aniston at the 2004 (I think) Emmys.

Eva Mendes' dress would have been good if not for that awful bow thing on the side.

Maggie Gyllenhaal...she looked wonderful. I usually don't like animal prints but she wore it well, especially in the blue.

Kate Beckinsale looked graet. Her dress was so pretty!

Olivia Wilde...OMG that dress was so pretty!!!

Ok...that's it I think. I REALLY need to get a grip! I'm still so worked up and excited from last night.

Oh...that girl from Slumdog Millionare...Freida? I think..she is so so pretty!!! That color was great for her.

i watched it!!! i'm so excited for awards i love it
i was so happy when kate winslet won her awards her speeches were beautiful me and my mom were tearing up it was great
and the whole steven spielberg thing was amazing god i knew he did like EVERYTHING but that was riddiculous

i didn't like blake lively's dress, she looked gorgeous but her dress was slit too high
i thought tina fey looked beautiful and kate winslet looked wonderful too (but she's always gorgeous it makes the world not fair...) lol
i was soooooooooo happy that heath won for the joker i almost cried when they announced that he won it's so sad...

Buuuut, we all know she's an amazing actress! Plus there is still the Oscars.

it was cute though she took like 10 minutes just trying to calm down enough to get her thoughts out it was so cute
she's been nominated before but she's never won so she was probably shocked i think it was cute when she talked to her kids in the speech

i was sad that cate blanchett wasnt there she always looks so beautiful!
