What exactly is this? This and the trail thing are the only 2 things that we have not done yet.

It's a film narrated by Whoppie Goldberg about the history of California. IMHO it's quite a sleeper, did it once and never felt the need to do it again. Some people would beg to differ though. It will NOT entertain the kids, that is for sure.

The Challenge Creek Trail is actually really neat, my daughter loves it because she can truly just run free in there when it is not crowded (which is mostly all the time). It does not open until 30 minutes after the park opens for some reason which I have never figured out. There are tunnel slides and rope bridges and a rope swing race and lots of room to run and explore and touch everything safely. She can't do the swings yet, but other than that I was impressed with how safe it was even for a toddler. The most dangerous thing I found was the pre-teens rough-housing and running around crazy knocking people over.

During the time you are going, Golden Dreams will be converted to Golden Screams. It's a short film which highlights the Disney Villians and you vote for your favorite by screaming (or so I've read). They do have a couple villians out for photo ops near here, so it may be worth it for the autograph book/photo op even if you don't see the movie (which I have read is quite lame as well).

I guess I am one of the few saps that like the movie, I always even cry........

Golden Dreams is one of my favorites at DCA. I mean, for practical reasons, it's great. For ex.: you can walk right in (there is almost never a wait), it's air conditioned, you get to sit. For these reasons alone I would love it. lol But I really like the movie. Yes, it's kind of cheesy, but hey, we are Disney fans. Cheese is always great when it's with the mouse. he he he

We really enjoyed Golden Dreams! But we didn't go this last visit......I think I'll love Golden Screams!! LOL Do the priority seating passes for Golden Dreams work for Screams as well?? We have some left from our July trip.

I'm another fan. It's not the best, but it's definitely worth a watch, and I was planning to see it again when I go in a couple weeks. Golden Screams sounds interesting.. does anyone know what date that will start? I wonder if I'll catch it or not..
