We have brought back our real glass wine glasses home in our carryons with no trouble. My luggage always seems to get bent or crushed (the last trip was no exception). I was afraid of the glass breaking in the checked luggage. TSA did not even question it.

Just got back yesterday. There is now a coffee pot with the fridge and it works great. My swap with pool rat went great. No issue with the luggage service. They found the fridge no problem and I did make sure to tip them for storing it. We took it to the room ourselves. Thanks so much for the use of everything.

kaileighbug: Thank you again for bringing the new coffee pot . Hopefully we can keep this one safe until my next trip. (Any future swappers may want to use one of the wash clothes around the bottom for protection).

bdoyledimou: Another big thank you . They are including a prepaid phone for anyone to use. The minutes expire in 90 days but can be easily refilled with a credit card or prepurchasing a minutes card off site. Instructions will be included.

I am so happy we have been able to keep this swap going with only 2 small problems for over a year. I want to thank everyone of the swappers for doing their part.

On the phones, so people after me can plan ahead..

There will be 2 "Net 10 Pre Paid" phones. If they are running out of time when you get them, you can purchase a new time card from Walmart (and possibly online, but i have to figure that out) for as little as $10 for 100 minutes. They work with both voice and text (texts cost 5 cents each or half a minute of talk).

They will be activated with Local (407) phone numbers.

We will include the instructions and charging cables in the package for both.

Note that the sim cards will only work in the phone they came with.
They will be mostly beneficial to people who don't have nationwide calling or foreigners (such as myself).

A description of the phone:

Single Rate for every call - 10¢ a minute always: local, nationwide long distance and roaming, International calling to over 60 destinations just 15 cents per minute, Text Messaging only 5¢ per message, Compact Phone, LCD Color Display, Hands-Free Speaker, Text Messaging, Voice Mail, Call Waiting, Caller ID, Auto Redial, Vibration Alert, Key Pad Lock, Alarm Clock, Phonebook with up to 500 entries, Includes 24 Polyphonic Ringtones.*All talk and standby time are quoted in Digital Mode and are approximate.

The electronic phone book will include the other phones number, and some key Disney and area phone numbers.

Hopefully these will last as long as the fridge has!

Just got back and the fridge should be in iowadisneytraveler's hands now. i wrapped the coffeepot inside and out with washcloths and hand towels.

Hopefully it is wedged in there well enough that all the jostling of moving it around does not damage it.

Thanks- having cold water came in real handy on this trip---so hot.
