Gold AP pass, new expiration during blackout period? Or when?

I realize that disney extended the AP the same number of dates that the parks are closed, but I don’t know what my new expiration date is.
My current Gold pass expires on Dec 15, so if I just add two weeks to that , it ends up during the gold pass blackout . So, will I now be allowed to go during the blackout? (I don’t want to) or will my two weeks be added on after the blackout ? (I might want this) or something else?

Two weeks from where it was. So into the blackout period and you wouldn't be able to use it then.

You will have to upgrade to Platinum to use it during blackout. I doubt they will extend it past Jan 3, or whenever the blackout period ends into 2021.

Who really knows. They may extend it X number of valid usable days, thus skipping over blackout dates. It wouldn't be very difficult to do.

I'd imagine if the extra days are blackout days well then to bad so sad

additionally when they most likely extend the closure into April another two weeks until after Easter I imagine Gold AP and below will only get another 4 day extension if one at all considering the 4th-17th is Spring Break Blackout (or the opposite if they do open April 1st as planned it will be interesting if the unblock the locals in addition to/instead of the extension of contracts just to get bodies back into the park)

There are about a million questions to all this pass extension stuff. I think if you wait it'll all shake out. Things are changing daily. If I had to guess though, it'll be no on a blackout time. Some folks will just hit a "too bad, bad luck" portion of their refund.

And a new little wrinkle for me- I have a silver pass, so I’m blocked out all summer until mid August. I’m booked 5/10-5/16 with my two grandsons who have Florida resident “discover Disney” tickets for four days.

Their tickets have been extended until 7/31/20. However, since I”m blocked out June and July, I’m not able to go then. I hope that they can work something out with me, but it’s definitely something that I”m worried about! Those tickets are $175 each, for 4 days, so that’s why I could swing it. I couldn’t buy a 4 day ticket park hopper otherwise for them. It’s something I hope works out but it’s something to consider.
