Gold AP blackout dates for 2018?

This year the Gold AP was blacked out thru Jan. 2nd - I assume because of the way the Federal Holiday was pushed to Monday since the first fell on a Sunday. Do we think tho that for next year it will go back to just being blacked out thru January 1st since the 1st will fall on a Monday? Now that my booking window for next January is here I would like to know what our options are (or aren't). When / how can I find out what the blackout dates will be for next year??

That Calendar doesn't include that far out but some of the others do. Both Gold & Silver are blocked out 2 Jan next year and I'd assume yearly going forward.

If you'll go into the WDW pass comparison and click on the blackout dates wording, the pop out goes that far out.

I don't believe Disney has published the 2018 blackout dates yet. The document referenced above only shows blackout dates through March of 2017.

In 2016 the 2nd was not blacked out (it was just this year) so I was hoping it was dependent on the Federal holiday.

So I called MS today. They had to put me on hold a couple of times for several minutes. Apparently the dates haven't been published yet BUT they were able to verify that it WILL blackout both Jan. 1st and 2nd again. Bummer. Will likely mean a 5 n trip for us rather than a 6 n trip if we go as DS has a shorter winter break from college next year...

Thanks for posting the dates. The cm at magic kingdom where I bought the gold pass over the dark side race weekend a couple weeks ago didn't have the info. Glad those dates don't interfere with any race weekends next year I'm a vgc owner and rarely go to wdw but with races I bought the pass. What an amazing perk! Wish there was some parity with dl annual passes. We only get $20 off ap for dvc.
