Hi again, I have the week of March 21-27 booked for me and dd age 6.

She's been several times and I'm wondering if there's something Disney I could do with her, but that might be something DIFFERENT than what we've done already??

She wants as much Princess stuff as we can do. We've already done the My Perfectly Princess tea party and don't want to do that again.

She mentioned a cruise, although I don't know where she got that from or how she knows about it.

It got me wondering about the cruise, or Disneyland Paris. Anyone done either of these?

Are there princesses on the cruises?

I'd love to put together a really fun, memorable experience for her. This is so important to me.

I know deep down, that all she wants is to be with ME..to put her head on my shoulder and be with me. We could sleep in a Super 8 for all she cares.

We're scheduled to be at the POP and you have NO idea how badly *I* want to upgrade to a deluxe...sooooo bad. But the trip is not about me, it's about her.

If we were to do a split trip..cruise/park..she would not go off to any of the kids activities without me...nor would she want to. What kind of things would there be for us to do together on the cruise?

Are the different Princess experiences at the California Disneyland or the Paris one? or are they all pretty much the same (sans the language barrier in Paris?)

Ideas?? Thanks so much!

We have been to disneyland Paris 4 times and have not seen any Princesses apart from in the Parades.

Personally I would not take a special trip over there to go to disneyland Paris as it is "not as good". The upkeep/refurbs/painting is not done very often and things just look a little like they could do with a little TLC. Also we found people to be much ruder there! One other thing a good proportion of all shows are in French (well I suppose it is in France:rotfl:).

Whatever you decide have a great time.

I agree with Ela; the princess experience/interaction is poor at DLP. We have been twice and would choose WDW any day. We lasy visited when DD was 6 and princess mad. There is one character meal with them which we couldn't afford and whilst they are in the parade they sing in french. I remember that there is a meet and greet at the castle where one prince and princess came out but swapped with another after 30 mins so you never knew who you would get! My DD was desperate to meet Aurora (in her blue dress) and Phillip but the queue was so badly managed (pushing in and no control by the cast members in limiting the time spent with the princess) that we abandoned it after an hour of not moving in the queue. It was so poor compared to Toontown and the princesses there. We are only about a two hour journey from Paris via the eurostar train but I would choose WDW any day.
