Going with Adult sisters and mom, can't wait!

Hello all! I am new to DIS. My sisters and I (there are 4 of us together) plus our mom are going in October. We are so beyond excited. My oldest sister and I have been quite a few times to the point where she became a DVC member. She came down last November with our mom, who is 83 and loves going, along with my oldest daughter. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to go for quite a few years and have been going through withdrawls . This time we are getting to go with our two other sisters also. One of them has only been once about 20 years ago. We can't wait to see her reaction to the most wonderful place on the planet, without DH or DS or DD. This is strictly a girls trip. We haven't gotten together for just a fun time in about 30 years and what better place to do it than at WDW. We are staying for a week at the Animal Kingdom Kidani and I can not wait. Thank you all for posting such great info and advice. I will keep reading and learning and counting down.

Sounds like you will have a blast! I hope when I'm 83 I will still be able to hoof it around WDW! I know if I planned a girls-only trip (friends bc I have no sisters) my family wouldn't talk to me. Hmm...wait a sec... oh never mind!

I did a similar trip last year. Did you have to convince anyone to go? Or were they on board from the start? I had to do some convincing but there were predictable results once we went. The most skeptical is, of course , the one who is now trying to plan for all of us to go back.
