Well, I woke up this morning and got a big surprise!!! :goodvibes

FREE DINING DATES have just been released for March!!!! It was for arrival dates March 25-31... My arrival day was March 24th!! I can't miss this by one day!!! :headache: I immediately picked up the phone and called Disney!
I was able to easily change my dates so that we could get the free dining offer! YAY!!! :cool1::banana::yay::woohoo::cheer2: This is exactly what I have been hoping for!! Now I can try out the dining plan and not even have to worry about the cost at all. I'm so happy!!!!!!

SO, now our travel dates are MARCH 25-30!!! I just moved everything down 1 day! ;)

Now, to fix that calendar I made......

Ahh yes, there we go! All better!!

:cloud9:

So happy for you! :cool1: I am starting to wonder the same thing. Should we move our trip to our spring break instead of the summer so that we can take advantage of free dining. Hmmm! Let the pondering begin! :confused3

Yay for FREE DINING! :woohoo:

Yeah!!! It gives me so much relief to see that balance dropped now!! :worship:

Thanks! Well, maybe a deal will come out for June?! I know we got the "kids stay and play free" deal this June.
I'm starting to worry even more so now though about the crowds. :scared1:
I'm afraid a lot of people will choose that week now just for the FD...

:woohoo: on getting free dining!! We have got it for our September trip and can't wait to try all the dining places knowing that our meals are paid for ;)

I'm excited and had to share!! I looked on the sales for Disney on Ice tickets this morning and seen that Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey is coming to Alabama in November and tickets are on sale now!! :goodvibes
Now, I just needed a promo code!! I looked online for a few minutes and then remembered that I should check mousesavers.com.... DUH, right?!?!
They had several codes to try on their site and I was able to find one that worked!! We got lower level seats for only $7.50 a ticket!!! :woohoo: Well, plus tax, and fees for all of us came out to just over $50... but still a GREAT DEAL! I think it would have been about $90 without the promo code!!!
We've been to a Disney on Ice show before, in 2006 (Our 1st Disney experience of any kind, and I cried lol)... and then also to a Playhouse Disney Live show in 2008 and both were awesome!!
Our show is November 3rd!! Can't wait!! :dance3:

Yay on getting a discount and buying Disney on Ice tickets!! :thumbsup2 I still haven't seen the show - may have to get tickets next time it comes to the UK.

Glad the free dining worked out for you! How exciting about the Disney On Ice. :cool1:

What a great deal on the Disney on Ice tickets:thumbsup2:cool1:

I went YEARS ago to see Disney On Ice, Beauty and the Beast. Honestly, I dont remember the show but I do have one destinct memory of the show. They gave out shaved ice in Chip cups and the woman in front of us started complaining about how there was a chip in the cup:rotfl: Obviously not a big fan.

I thought I'd share a little trip report on our day in Atlanta. We took the kids there on Wednesday, July 27th. We went to the Georgia Aquarium and to the World of Coca-Cola. It was lots of fun!! :)

Atlanta's time zone is an hour ahead of us and it's just over 3 hours away, so we had to leave home around 5am our time so we could arrive around 9am. That's when the Aquarium opens. We pulled up around 9:15am, got parked and make it inside by 9:30...

They have some beautiful tanks.

We had tickets to the 1:15pm Dolphin Show, and we LOVED it!! They wouldn't let anyone take photo's or video's of the show at all. It was a great show.

We left after the dolphin show, we had already toured the entire aquarium before 1pm, so we headed next door to the World of Coca-Cola.

This was a really neat place! I was amazed at how many people came there from all over the world! The beginning of it is tour guided and then you get to go off on your own.

The last room was the tasting room where you drink cokes from all around the world!! I'm guessing this must be similar to what's in Epcot at Disney??! I never got to see it in Epcot. But this was cool. And yeah the rumors are true... the "Beverly" from Italy is the worst!! LOL. I think I was actually gagging... my kids wouldn't go near it after that. But my weird DH actually liked it!!! Yuck. All of the Africa ones were gross, but I enjoyed most of China's the best!

We left sometime before 4pm and drove home, stopping for dinner. I think we actually, finally, made it home around 8pm? We were exhausted!!! But it was a fun day!!

The End!!! Thanks for reading!!!

Oh...I'll probably have another mini TR soon. My husband and I are going to the beach ALONE next weekend for my birthday. Yeah... ALONE... We haven't traveled alone since our honeymoon!!!!! I'm so excited!!!

And of course there will be more updates on my actual PTR soon too! Staaaaayyyyy tuned......

Sounds like you had a great day out! :thumbsup2 Yay on meeting the polar bear at World of Coke and think your DH must be the only person who likes Beverly!

Have a great birthday and :woohoo: on having some alone time!!

We're just over 2 hours from Atlanta... yet we've never been to the GA Aquarium. Of course, we have one right here we can go to any time we want... but maybe one day we'll get around to going there! Looks like fun!

That looks like a super fun day! :thumbsup2

Yeah he is a WEIRDO! :rotfl2: I was like, "Really? NO ONE likes the Beverly!!"

You should go!!! We love going to Aquariums and we really enjoyed it. But don't go when it might be busy, we were there on a Wednesday and it was super crowded!! My friends went that next Saturday and they said it was so packed they couldn't even get through the exhibits and were very disappointed.

Well me and the hubby were supposed to leave for the beach tomorrow but we have to cancel now :sad1: I've been really sick and hurting for the past week and I don't know what it is yet. I've been miserable and barely able to eat anything at all. I'm going for a scan on my gallbladder Monday morning, since that seems to be what all my symptoms are pointing to.
I'm really sad about having to cancel our weekend alone. I've been looking forward to this for so long. Hopefully we'll be able to reschedule sometime later. :confused3
As long as nothing like this is going on when it's time for Disney!! :scared1:
My birthday is tomorrow too so I hope I can do something besides lay around in bed!!

Oh, no! Sorry to hear your weekend is a bust... and that you've not been feeling well! I know all to well how bad a gallbladder attack is... had to have mine taken out a few years ago. Hope you get better soon!
