We'll be leaving tomorrow, too!! But, we're not actually getting to our resort until Sunday.

I hope the crowds aren't too bad!!!!

In about 12 hours we'll be flying down to WDW (again)!

I don't care how hot it is .. Bill passed so a typical August sounds fine to me. I think it's crowded though.

Drink the free ice water often, have a dole whip float, take breaks...we made the first day an easy day to get used to the heat and lack of sleep! Swim! Have fun!

Have a great trip. We just got back late last night and I'm catching up. I just wanted to warn you that it is so hot. We've been in August many times, but this was the worse. It was so incredibly hot yesterday we could not wait to leave and the crowds were the absolute worse I've ever seen them. We got there last Friday and went to MK on Saturday and had hardly any wait for anything, but when Sunday arrived and free dining started the crowds were unbelievable. There was a triple digit wait for all of the big rides. FP were gone for TSM, by noon every day. We never rode the great movie ride or star tours because the wait was never less than 50 minutes for either. FPs were gone for RnR by noon. Test track and Soaring had waits of 100 minutes every time we went. TSM was 110 minutes on Thursday with the fast pass line stretching out the door down the sidewalk (not to get the fast pass, but to use the fast pass). I don't know who on this board always posted that free dining didn't effect the rides, they must never go during early May and late October like we do. We will never go during summer and free dining again. Though it is hard to avoid free dining now, but never the same combo. I don't want to scare you, I just want you to be prepared. Hopefully, your week will be better as schools start next week for many.

Shudder. I leave tomorrow morning and am hoping that it calms down somewhat. I can deal with waiting somewhat but not that long. This trip was a gift so I can't complain!

Flight leaves 5:30am tomorrow(Sun) Plan on being in the Magic Kingdom by lunch..enjoying a hot dog at Casey's!!!

With the heat and crowds I would make rope drop each day no matter what. Have a blast!!!
