My husband and I have been to Disney a ton but we always end up eating at the exact same counter service locations. This time I want to try some different places. At MK we always end up at Columbia Harbor House. Come to think of it that's usually where we eat all the time. Not sure why it just always happens that we are by there at lunch. Below is our plans for which parks to be at. Any food suggestions would be great!

Friday Evening - Animal Kingdom for EMH. I really want to try Yak n Yeti Cafe. Is it really as good as it smells?

Saturday - Breakfast at CSR since we have to be at MK early for our Keys to the Kingdom tour. Lunch is provided at Columbia Harbor House. We are planning on staying for the night time parade at MK and then heading down to DTD. What are some good places to eat at both locations?

Sunday - Breakfast at CSR then making our way to DHS for rope drop. I've heard that there isn't really any good food places at DHS so we'll probably leave around noon and eat off-site before we head to the malls for my birthday shopping!!

Any counter service locations would be greatly appreciated!

AK- haven't had Yak n Yeti, but Flame Tree BBQ is good if the ducks crawling at your feet don't freak you out

MK- Cosmic Ray's burgers and chicken are good

DTD-Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express

I've never eaten at DHS for the same reason- no one ever has anything good to say about it!

I'm also excited to try CS in Morocco this year.

Have a great trip!

I eat at Toy Story Pizza Planet when at the studios. The veggie pizza is very flavorfull, not sure about the others and they also have a really nice salad there.

For non ts locations
MK - Columbia Harbor House is good so why change?
Main Street bakery is not bad as well as Cosmic Rays. The half chicken ribs combo at Cosmic Rays is good and really enough for most to share.

HS - If you are there before they run put of food Starring Roles in HS is very good. They are usually out of food by 1 or 2 though. Really nice fresh sandwiches and cupcakes.
Some people really like the Toy Story Pizza place.
The commissary has just gotten awful in the last few months - I would avoid it.

AK - I was not thrilled with Yak and Yeti (I assume you are talking about the CS) IT was the only meal that made me unwell, may have been bad luck but I won't be back.
The Flame Tree Barbecue is not bad if you like ribs.

DTD-IF your on the DDP or QSDP then Wolfgang Puck Express is very good (the one at the marketplace, not westside) for a cs credit. The pastas are very good as well as the creme brulee. The pizza was not nice at all.
Otherwise Earl of Sandwich.

I like Pecos Bill at MK for BBQ Pork. We also like hot dogs at Casey's, but that sometimes is "on the go" as the seating is extrememly limited. We probably won't eat there in Jan since it may not be comfortable to eat outside.

We struggle at DHS too, though we've done ok at the Commissary.

We may try new CS at MK too. CHH is on the list. So is Cosmic Rays.

We always eat at CHH too it is my favorite but last time we did Casey's and I don't even like hot dogs but I loved it. Also Earl of sandwhich is awesome and the prices are really good for being at disney. If you like fish and chips and stuff like that you might want to try Cooke's of Dublin Hope you have a great trip:thumbsup2

AK - We love the Yak & Yeti CS! My DH always gets an order of eggrolls. You get two, and they are HUGE! We've also heard that the hot sandwiches at Pizzasafari are good, too.

MK - I really like Columbia Harbor House, too. As a PP said, Cosmic Rays is also good, and they have a wide variety of choices.

DHS - Run, run, run....

DTD - We usually try to eat once at Earl of Sandwich and once at Wolfgang Puck Express during each trip.

Off-Site - We love, love, love Miller's Orlando Ale House. It's right around the corner, a couple of minutes at most, from DTD. Some locals told us about it, and we try to fit it in at least once during every trip.

This is not CS but a very nice, little TS resturant in MK is the Plaza. They have very good sandwiches and desserts. It is TS but very nice and quite small. You will need ADR for that.
