I have reservations for the YC on an upcoming trip in December. I am planning on being in Epcot and was thinking it would be convenient to just walk over there. My question is..since this is a signature restaurant we of course want to dress appropriately. We don't want to wear our "dress" clothes around the park all day (PS at 6:30) and hate to waste time going back to the room to change and then come back. Do we take advantage of the walking convenience and wear our park attire or go back to the room to change? What would you do??

You can certainly wear park attire, just wear something a bit nicer to the park that day. A nice pair of knaki shorts and a polo shirt. Leave the Mickey Mouse t-shirt and gym shorts for another park day. Leave a few minutes early and stop by the lobby restroom to comb your hair, wash your hands and just freshen up a bit.

They do suggest Business casual but we seen every type of attire from tank tops to 3 piece suits and never heard of anyone being denied admission to YSH. As the previuos poster suggested just bump up your park wear and you'll be fine.

We are doing a couple sig restaurants on our trip on park days... and we are going to take a bag with clean shirts and things to freshen up, and put them in a locker.

This will save us lots of transportation time and give us more time to spend in the park.

I agree, just wear nicer shorts with polos to the park that day. Sneakers are fine. The only thing you can't wear there is tanktops and swimwear.

So, go, enjoy your day in the park and walk over!

I never thought about renting a locker! Freshening up in the bathroom is a good idea also. Thanks all! If anyone is going to be staying at the Yacht Club on Dec 2nd let me know so I can just stop in and shower before I go :rotfl: jk!

DH and I went in April, he wore nice jeans, a polo and sneakers. I had on flip flops, skort and solid color tee. We were very dressy compared to some other people in the place
