This is what I LOVE about being a DVC member. We have had our reservation for April since the 11 month window. It will be the first trip I take with my sister and her family.( we usually go at different times, even though we BOTH love Disney)

Well, because your life is usually different a year later, sometimes what you planned a year ago may not be able to happen. We have had alot happen in my family in the past year, and more recently, alot of money issues. We are in the process of buying a bigger house, so in order to sell this house, cash out of pocket has to happen. ( Title V certificate, our well pump needs to be repaired, ect.) Not to mention the down payment we had to pay on the new house. And, come to find out, my van needs $600 in repairs or we can't drive down. So, long story short, if this was a trip made with cash reservations, we could not/would not be going. But because we are DVC owners, we still have 3 days left on our Hopper passes, and we don't have to come up with any cash for the room. The first part of our week we will be on the Cruise Ship, so that is all inclusive. We will just not be able to spend money on alot of souveniers. But thanks to DVC...WE ARE STILL GOING HOME!

lots of pixie dust to you and your family, and this vacation will mean the most to you:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

We hope you have a wonderful trip. Sometimes through the difficult times the best memories are made. Being at Walt Disney World with family is something to look forward to and create great memories! Enjoy your trip and forget your troubles!

Have a great trip home. If you like the pool, you can spend a lot of hours & days never spending a dime doing that.

Cook in your DVC room and the costs for meals will be minimal.

We feed our kids a lot of pizza and save a bundle on meals. They love it. Of course my spouse and I go out to eat!

Since you are driving down from Ma I will tell you if you haven't heard that rt 95 in Bridgeport, CT is closed and will be for some time. Majr oil truck accident caused the bridge to melt, yes, melt from the heat of the fire. Look at a map, get off exit 38 it is a connector to rt 15, take rt 15 to route 7, take route 7 to get back on rt 95 south and beyond the problem area; also if you want you can just get on rt 15 and take it all the way down and go over the Tappan Zee Bridge and go to the Garden State Parkway to the New Jersey Turnpike. Stay away from Bridgeport CT and rt 95, by the time you go they may have a one lane situation opened over the bridge that melted down, do not go that way, it will takes hours to get throgh the Bridgeport CT area. Good luck!:D
