Going to WDW in 4 days to MNSSHP How many Parents Get Dressed Up?

We will be leaving on Sunday and I can't wait. I actually extended our trip by one day just so we (meaning I) can go to MNSSHP. I have never done Halloween in Disney, and can't wait to experience it.

Question is this? How many parents get dressed up? I am sure I won't be the only one, but will I be one of two? LOL I know I shouldn't care, but hate feeling stupid too. I am going as Red Riding Hood. DD (2) will be a clown (I made the costume so I can't wait for her to get dressed up) and DH is up in the air about wearing a costume.

Just thought some of you may have been there and could tell me if any of the parents do get dressed up or not.

I love Halloween and just wanted to get into the Disney spirit. DH is cutting me off till DD is a little older and can "remember" Disney. Plus he doesn't want to wear out Disney. We have been there 2-3 times a year for the last 5 years....is there such a thing as too much DISNEY?

Anyway, any input would be appreciated.

Not even close to being packed. I have been sick all week and can't seem to muster up the energy to do anything but clean here and there. Hate coming back to a messy house.

I plan on packing on Saturday. We have a late flight on Sunday, so I am not too worried. Plus, the earlier I pack, the more I think about if I packed something and then spend too much time unpacking to check then repacking.

I would have your daughter pack a costume just in case. She may get there and change her mind about dressing up. You never know.

Don't worry, a lot of adults dress up. It is a lot of fun. DH and I have been twice and both dressed up each time. You won't feel out of place at all.

We have gon to MNSSHP 2 years in row (#3 10/20/06) and we dressed up and will this year too. It is a blast. Everyone get treat bags and it's too much fun. My in-laws went with us last year and they dressed up too. We try to keep a disney theme. last year was Peter pan DS(8)-peter DH-cpt. hook DD(3mo.)-tink(how sweet was that-she was just a wee little pixie!!) me as (duh) wendy MIL & FIL-indians. It was a great time. we are being pirates w/ DH as Jack Sparrow (for the second time)in the lead, I even found a pattern for a stroller cover that looks like a pirate ship-how cool!! the only thing is that we ALWAYS dress up as a family and DS wants to be a Jedi. I suppose I will have to conceed.

Dress up and have a blast, remember the magic of trick or treating!
I'll be up every night for the next 8 weeks making sure the costumes are JUST RIGHT (we like to make a BIG splash)

Dh and I have been twice pre-kids and dressed up both times. This year our 3 month old will be in his Lightening McQueen outfit and Dh and I are his pit crew. Lots of adults will be in costume.

The majority of adults aren't dressed up, but don't worry there will be enough grownups in costumes that you won't feel out of place. We didn't dress up, but really enjoyed seeing the families that did. We especially loved the families that dressed in a theme.

I guess it depends on the night and the crowds because I found the majority were in costume. Either way you won't feel out of place.

I have heard that a bunch of adults dress up. My DH said "No Way", I am still thinking about it. Just trying to get all the kids costumes together is the biggest part
