Going to Virginia Beach Virginia for a family Reunion and Naval Jet-fly over

Hey Gang Next week Im going to Virginia Beach Virginia to attend a family reunion with my girlfriend's family. I will be leaving Next thursday morning and will arriving sometime later that day. This will be the second time that I have visit Virginia Beach ( Last Trip was in 2000) The Virginia Beach Strip is a Prime spot to watch the Naval Jets Fly out over the water. I love it when the After-Burners are activated when they fly out over the water they are quite Loud. Im sooo Looking forward to this trip

That was one of our favorite parts of our Virginia Beach vacation this year -- I can see how some might get weary of the sound if they live there, but we thought it was totally thrilling! I tried and tried to get a good photo of the jets flying, but man are they fast!

Va beach is the closest beach to us and we try and take the hour and a half drive there at least 2 or 3 times during the summer. We love to rent the four seater bikes and peddle up and down the board walk feeling the breeze and salt air rush by.

We usually park at the Dairy Queen at 17th street and get a cone or a blizzard then hop back on.

Caught my first official wave at 84th street 3 years ago on a 9' soft top board I'll never forget that feeling.

All and all though, it is a very crowded area in the summer, but what beach isn't.

I went to Virginia Beach a few years ago on a business trip and just loved it! Didn't see any fly-bys, but the seafood was to die for.

Thank you!!!! Kennedy Space Center had an air show last year with jets like this. I loved it. I love to go anywhere there are planes.
