going to vero beach dec 26-jan 2, what is there to do there then?

hey guys, we are going back down to vb dec 26-jan 2nd. my dh was wondering if the resort does anything for new year's, or should we be nuts and join the crowds up at disney? Anyone been down there then? thanks, maggie

Well you will be able to still enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations.
Have not actually stayed over New Years, but have visited on numerous occasions that time of year. They do have scheduled activities for NYE. Hopefully someone on board who has actually stayed there over that time period, can give you a better picture of what they plan. The weather can be unpredictable as can water conditions. Also, beach erosion can be extensive going into the winter months. The good side is it is VB and relaxing no matter what time of year imho. Enjoy your stay.
