Going to Universal this week- sweatshirt/sweater or no?

We'll be flying in on Friday morning to hopefully spend the that day at both parks. Seeing the weather forecast, is a sweater needed? I don't get that cold and I would hate to have to take it off. I don't have anywhere to put it in so i DON'T want to be carrying it.

When we go to California in the summer, it's at 55 F - 60 F in the morning during opening and i go with shorts and a t-shirt. It's quite nice.

My sister and mom want to wear sweatshirts but I really don't know what to do.

The forecast said that the high on FRI, SAT , and SUN will be 79- 80 F yikes...I don't do well with heavy sweatshirts in that temp. ( It will be the Thing 1 sweatshirt). i live in Puerto Rico and right now it's 84 F. I don't feel hot or cold but that's just because i'm sitting down. If I were walking around I'd feel a wave of heat.

BUT, I don't want to not but the sweatshirt and have my family saying "I told you so."

what do I do? Have any of you been there at this time?

I live here and I think a light sweater or light jacket would be fine. Pay attention to the overnight temps since that's when you're going to feel the temp moreso than during the day when it's nice and warm. If you've done California in similar overnight temps, you should be OK w/o jacket or sweatshirt.

I think a light sweater or sweatshirt would be good for the early morning and then you probably won't need it in the afternoon. We were there last week and the beginning of this week where the mornings were very cool. You should have warmer weather.

I live here and I haven't been wearing sweaters at all. Maybe just wear a long sleeved shirt you can roll up during the day, or a 3/4 sleeve shirt. That's what I've been wearing.

Yeah it's been warmer this week than last so maybe just a windbreaker type of jacket but really you don't need much during the day.

Yeah, it's really warm and humid this week. The five day forecast shows for highs in the 70s and 80s all this week. I'm ready for another cold front.
