Going to Universal from Pop Century

We are booked to spend three days at Pop Century but were thinking of going to Universal Studios for last day.

How do you recommend getting to Universal from Pop? Taxi? If so, any idea how much that might be? We are renting a car the following day to get to the ocean for the remainer of our vacation. Maybe it is cheaper to rent the car a day earlier to drive ourselves to and fro Universal?

Any advice?

Cab would cost around $35 - $40 each way; town car about $50 r/t; Mears Shuttle @ $15 per person r/t (all need to be scheduled in advance, except the cab). Alternative is Lynx Bus from MK/TTC parking lot but extremely time-consuming.
I'd say rent the car a day earlier.
