Going to universal for the first time with DH and 5 yr old son on May 26 will be doing 1day 2park before our cruise. Staying at the Royal Pacific Resort will my five yr old enjoy the parks and does anyone know a code to ge a cheaper rental right now i'm paying 88USD for a 1 day rental :confused3

Did you just say you are staying at the Royal Pacific Hotel for $88 per night?

Or do you mean you're paying 88 dollars per day to rent a car?

Because if you're staying onsite you shouldn't need a car at all.

What rental agency are you using and what dates?

I'll leave that up you guys who know better. I know nothing about renting a car here in town.

Speaking of "here in town"...I have a question for ya (sorry to go OT).

While we are down there, our niece is flying into MCO on Tues July 13th. I think she's getting in around 12:30ish. Now, seeing it's a Tuesday and by the time we get out of the airport (1ish), what do you recommend we take to the PBH? I-4 or Sand Lake Rd? Randy says it probably won't be crowded on I-4, but I think there's more tolls and traffic than taking Sand Lake. What do you think?

Tanks ;)

sorry i wasn't clear got a 1 day rental from budget. Renting a car because on the 27th will be cruising on the disney wonder:hippie:

I find $86.39 including taxes for an economy car using BCD X793200.

That's w/ Budget picking it up at the Holiday Inn Universal and returning it at the port.

Isn't that Memorial Day weekend? Maybe the day you're renting and why so high?

I think I-4 should be fine on a Tuesday afternoon. Sand Lake Road is always a nightmare so avoid it at all costs!
