The cast:

Me: NDM who just turned 40
DM: my Mom
DS13: my teenage son
DD9: my pre-teen daughter

We are staying at Pop Century and although I have made a few Dining reservations, I have been unsuccessful in talking my Mom into getting the dining plan. Ugh...

Although I've done WDW almost annually, this will be my first time trying my hand at a trip report while I am there.

Are any other Canadians going to be in WDW while "I am there? Any tips on writing a trip report? :dance3:

No tips here in writing a trip report, but I was there in February 2009 and the weather was fine for me. Watch for any cold snap ... so pack a sweater ... Didn't happen to us in February, but did in November.

Stayed at the POP in Feb ... worked out great. Enjoy yourself. :cool1:

Check out the "Canadians in February" thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2340836

We will be there from the 7th-14th (POP starting the 10th) :yay:

As for the weather, Ted was fortunate, likely went after the first week in February last year, cause we were there the first week when it hit record lows and we froze our butts off! So yes, DEFINITELY pack a sweater (we wore layers), you never know when you might need it! :thumbsup2

We went in Feb last year as well, just like disneyfreak said, we landed the last day or two of the cold spell, and it was cold!!!!!! The rest of our days was fine. We were there the 5th to the 14th. The rest of our week was fine!!!! Nice weather actually, so bring a sweater or 2!

disneyfreak89 is correct ... I was there the second week of February.

Avoided the big freeze!

In 2007 we went from Feb 6-15. We darn near froze our hineys off...stretch gloves and fleece lol. The trade off...we walked on every ride over and over and over again:goodvibes Have fun!

Our last trip to WDW was January 2008 during a cold snap. My DH (who is always warm!) found it funny to walk around in his shorts with his sweater and coat while the locals came out for Martin Luther King day in their winter coats, mitts, etc... I'll definitely be packing layers for us.

We have never stayed at POP as we always try to stay at different resorts each trip. Any major differences between it and All Stars?

We will be at Disney Feb 6-13th as well but will be at the Caribbean Beach Resort. We normally stay at POP which is awesome.

Last year we went at the same time and weather was perfect. Hot and no rain for the whole week. I did pack for the cold though just in case but we were really lucky. You just never know.
