This has been on my bucket list forever. Can't wait. It's gonna be a zoo but worth it!

If I didn't have end of semester obligations, I'd pull the kids out of school and go. I suspect I may end up doing that for the very last launch.

Enjoy!!!

I'll just watch it from my front lawn as always. I cannot imagine the craziness that will be happening on the coast.

Yeah. We were up in near Titusville doing some errands this morning, and it was already crazy.

We are further south -- outside of Melbourne, and we will be watching from our front yard as well.

I will watch it from wherever we happen to be tomorrow...I am having a feeling though that it may be scrubbed...they are calling for rain..20%..so who knows...as much as I want to witness it from the coast...WAY to many peeps!

I'll be there with my family!!! I love the thrill of the launches.

For this launch I am packing a portable collapsible camping potty and privacy tent! (yay Amazon!) I figure when we are waiting there for hours and hours beforehand we'll need it. Last launch the bathroom line at the gas station was out the door.

I also have a back-up hotel room booked in case they do a last minute 24hr weather delay. We have until 6 pm to cancel.

So I am SET!!!

Happy Launch Everyone!

Start early! They are expecting tremendous traffic problems. NASA said if they have to scrub the launch tomorrow, they will delay until Sunday so their people will have a chance to get home and rest. They are that concerned about the traffic issues.

I will watch this launch as I have watched all the prior launches from the comfort of my front yard!

I hope you heard that, if they delay, they will not launch until Sunday. This is because of the huge crowds expected. NASA is concerned about their people being able to get home and back to work.

Sunday, eh? Good to know. Thanks!

Ooh, I hadn't heard, but then again my dh is the one on Doom and Gloom Watch (love that man to death but being the practical person he is, he is always watching out for worst case scenarios and seems to delight and passing them on). Will make a second night's back-up reservation just in case. And who knows? If there's a delay I may get a visit to F&G with my annual pass!! (see? my enthusiasm balances out D&G, lol)

I am proud to say that I shall be inside of the NASA Langley complex here in Va watching the launch with several engineers!

We are watching it from a friend's condo. We just have to make it out to the coast. Here's hoping it doesn't get scrubbed. But Safety of the crew is far more important then fighting the traffic. We'll do what we have to do!

Since we had to postpone...we are undecided for June where we will watch it from but most likely the Condo :)

I heard on the radio this morning that they are expecting a possible 500,000 to 750,000 people. I can't imagine. DH was bummed that they pushed the launch to tomorrow. We were in FL last week and would have been able to see it, if they hadn't changed the date.

OK all these comments are scaring me! We are supposed to watch from the KSC Visitor Center (bought tickets) and get there at 8am. Think it will be that crazy then?

If it goes off and the skies are clear we will watch from in front of our house.
