I live in Florida and I'm considering going tomorrow by myself.. the idea worries me but I really want to go. Have any of you gone to the parks alone? I doubt this will happen, though I want to go. Just wondering how it was by yourself and stuff. Also how busy do yall think it will be tomorrow? LOL

I don't see why not, I've gone alone before for a day. Hard to guess how busy it'll be since this hasn't really been done before, but personally I think crowds will be moderate at worst.

I live in Florida and I go by myself all the time. I'll be there tomorrow by myself. I like going alone because I get to do whatever I want to do and I don't have to worry about anybody else.

Bethylou, :welcome: to the DISboards  I take my trips solo now and I have a blast :dance3: You can do what you want to do, you can eat where you want to eat, you can go where you want to go :woohoo: So I say go for it and enjoy :tinker:

Thanks you guys! I've lurked for ages, but thanks for the welcome :D I might do it.. I really want to go. Trying to see if I can find someone to go with me last minute, but thanks! I don't feel that weird now lol.

I've gone to a couple of parks for the day by myself. I really enjoyed myself. A number of families offered to let me tag along with them; I didn't, but it was nice of them to offer me a place in their group.

If I lived closer to WDW, I'd go by myself with some frequency. Go and have a great time!

Over the years, I've made solo visits to MK, EPCOT, & DHS (as well as USF) on various occasions. I also went to DL/DCA in CA by myself last year. All of my solo trips were because I had business with or was performing at Disney and had some free time. Any "vacation" trip has always been with my family. At times, solo trips make me feel slightly guilty. I can't help thinking about how much my family would enjoy this or that. But I still manage to enjoy myself. Plus, the family gets to experience the parks on our family trips. I'm not going to feel guilty enough to sit in a hotel room doing nothing when there are theme parks in the neighborhood.

I have an annual pass...I have been a few times by myself. Pick your favorite park and enjoy.

A day in the park alone sounds like so much fun!!! Go and enjoy!

I have gone to DL and DCA by myself when I was in CA for business. I live on the East Coast, so it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. At first I felt a little weird, but it was actually really nice to be there by myself! I could do whatever I wanted on my own timeline, and I loved that.

We were there last week , my husband & I wanted to go to Epcot, my son wanted to go back to MK so he went by himself for the day & said he had a great time

I went on a solo trip for 12 days. Not once did it bother me. It's great being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want. And there's so much to do that you don't even notice or care all that much that you are alone.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Sure, having someone who enjoys Disney to go with you can be pretty fun, but going alone has its advantages too, specially if the alternative is going with someone who doesn't like to do the same things you do or tour like you do.

I've done one trip completely solo and would do it again in a heartbeat. I loved being able to go wherever I wanted without having to consult with someone else. I got to do to things that my DD has no interest in doing. One day I hopped between 3 parks just because I felt like it.

Go and enjoy yourself!

I've gone by myself plenty of times,I enjoy myself when I go with others and I've enjoyed myself when I've gone by myself.I guarantee you if I lived close enough I would be at the parks by myself 2-3 times a month if not more.

HECK YEAH...I flew to Florida by myself and stayed 5 nights at WDW by myself.I would do it again in a heartbeat

I go alone maybe 40 times each year. At first it was awkward but no any more. My wife just doesn't care to go as often as I do.

I have never gone alone, but I would LOVE to!! When I win the lottery, the first thing I will do is a solo trip to Disney!

I havn't yet but will be this summer, DH is going out of town for a week so the compromise was I get to spend at least a few days doing what I want so that will be heading to Disney. I don't have any concerns traveling alone and I feel safest at Disney as I have anywhere else, so I will be flying down for at least 3 nights and spending my time in the parks alone, doing what I want. Which it will be July so that is probably running from shady spots to icy cold a/c areas and people watching.

If I were within 200 miles today there isn't much that would have kept me out of the parks for Leap Day, solo or not I would have been there. Did you decide to go?
