Going to the park alone?

Just saw this post and hope that you decided to go. I've done WDW twice by myself and loved it. In both instances I was there for a conference and my son couldn't join me until the second day. I loved my solo days. It's fun, flexible, and relaxing. So much better than going with someone that I don't know very well or who is a lukewarm Disney person. This spring DSO (boyfriend) may be going to Atlantic City with a friend. If that happens and I can find reasonable airfare to Orlando I'm outta here!

I prefer to go alone most times and since I live here, I usually only go for a few hours. Going solo is great since you can do what you want...when you want. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I would surely go alone. The only thing I might not do is go to a nice restaurant alone.

I've done WDW solo, and am doing DLR solo this upcoming weekend, and honestly, it's one of my favorite things to do! I love going solo thanks to the fact that I get to do what I want to do, and I don't have to wait for anyone else, schedule in their likes, dislikes, when they're hungry or need a bathroom break. It's amazing, I don't feel guilty for going on the same ride 10 times, and never touching another. I personally love travelling solo!!

I'd go for it. DW likes to sleep in, so I'm always up for RD alone. You can get a lot of rides and attractions in, and you can also stop to take stuff in that you might not have done with a group.

Last year I lived within 12 miles of the Magic Kingdom for a year. I LOVED going to the parks by myself. I noticed so many more details and really enjoyed just sitting and absorbing the atmosphere. No one even notices that you are on your own so there is no reason to feel self conscious. Have a wonderful time!
