My girlfriend and I are going to Orlando in a week and we are wondering what "couples" things we can enjoy. We are both in the first serious relationship following divorce and no kids are going with us. Also this is the first big getaway for us as a couple. Any ideas??? We will be staying 4 nights and plan on seeing the mouse as well as universal. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :love2:

There's plenty for couples to do - a few suggestions:
- a carriage ride at either Ft. Wilderness or the Port Orleans resorts after a nice dinner at the Cali grill (Contemporary) or somewhere else
- sharing a couples massage at one of the spas on property
- getting your picture taken in front of the castle or with your favorite characters

I'm sure others will post their favorites also!!! :teeth:

We honeymooned in WDW and to be honest, we didn't seek out any "adult" activities in the parks other than a few good meals. I think being big kids together was actually pretty romantic.

I think it would be very romantic to go to the Polynesian and sit out in the hammocks, (with a drink ;) ) and watch Wishes from the beach. How romantic! Also, Port Orleans Riverside is very romantic to walk around at night with all of the landscaping. Really, everything you do even if it's just being at the parks is romantic. Because you get to spend so much time talking, holding hands, and walking around together. :lovestruc Ok maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic..... :teeth:

we went for our honeymoon, the only adult thing we did was eat at the good restuarants (Bistro de Paris. . .ooh la la, and Cafe Marakesh also very good), but we tempered that with character meals, and standing in line at the county fair for pictures. We did do some wine shopping/tasting, I guess that's adult.

At least without kids you can avoid it's a small world and the tiki room (I made the wife go).
