Been there... done that. It was quite a few years ago and I've never regreted it. You'll be fine! After the surgery, move around as much as possible (prevents gas) take the pain meds as needed and before you know it you'll be back here on the Dis. Be sure to give yourself a chance to heal up and don't try and do too much too quickly.

You will be in my thoughts.

Had one in July. Everything went well. Used pain pump first 24 hours and nothing but Motrin 600 after that. Even got to go home a day early. Any questions feel free to PM. Prayers and pixie dust coming your way!!!
