I was just there in September. You will love Pop!
Good things:
1. The giant statues that are on the buildings. Especially the Giant Mickey Phone
2. All the buildings are located within a short walk to the lobby and bus area
3. The rooms are nice and well maintained
4. The staff is very kind and willing to go out of their way to assist you in anything you might need
Bad things:
1. Bus service is not the best( I have stayed at the All Stars and they have much better service than Pop but while at Pop the bus driver told us that they will be redoing the entire bus system throughout the world sometime next year.)
2. The food court can be real hectic in the morning. Either get your breakfast to go and eat by a pool or in your room. Tell your kids what they want to eat and leave them with a responsible adult and get their food for them. It seems to work better that way.
Remember- You will not get to do everything in one visit. Take your time and relax and don't sweat the stuff you can't do.
Take a break once and awhile. If you take no breaks believe me a melt down will be in your future either by you or someone in your party.
Get to Toontown a little before 10:00 and go straight for the Judge's Tent. When you get out of the Judge's Tent look to your left and right for some of the characters walking around. If you get them just right you won't have to wait long.
If you want to see any of the parades start looking for a place at least one hour before it begins. If you wait any longer you might not get a good view of the parade.
In my opinion,Wishes is best viewed from right in front of the Partners Statue but to the left or right a little(Alot of people have different opinions on this)
Remember to pack moleskin and bandaids. Tummy aids(tablet form) and Tylenol.
I could go on and on(as you can already see) but the main thing is to chill out and realize that its a vacation not a commando raid. If you can't do something big deal-it will give you an excuse to go again.
Warning*****-Once you go to Disney it will be next to impossible to envision a vacation anywhere else. I know I am a Disneyholic.
