Going To Park Before Checking In

Can I go to a Park for Extra Magic Hour early opening, before officially checking into a WDW resort ? (ie:I've done the check-in process on MDE . Do I have to go to the Disney resort for them to scan my Magicband ?). I already have a Magicband with an Annual Pass on it.

1. Yes.
2. No.
In most cases, you will never, ever, have to go to the resort's front desk during your trip.
That is virtually all now handled via "On-line Check-in."
3. Any active MB that you have will be able to access all the same information from your MDX account.
There is nothing "put onto" any MagicBand. All of the ticket/resort/FP/etc. info is stored in your MDX account... which is accessed via any active MB registered to you.
