And I just realized I may be in trouble. We're there Oct 29-Nov 1. The 1st is the NYC Marathon!:headache: I hope this doesn't interfere with getting to the airport (LGA), but I think I know better.

I assume we'll just have to leave for the airport earlier than planned. It looks like the course does a little loop around Lexington and 59th, which is right beside the Regency! The course is actually between us and the airport.

I had planned on getting a car service thinking taxis may be swamped, but now I'm worried those may be booked, too. I was looking at that dial7 place, I think? Any other recs?

Not sure if I'm venting or asking for suggestions, really. Any Midtown/Upper East Side restaurants to rec?:)

Thanks!

I don't have any suggestions...but would love to hear a report.

Have an awesome trip!

I  NY!

We had some points to burn off a year ago and a wedding in Manhattan, so we used the points at Loew's Regency for a suite. The hotel is intimate and posh without being fancy-pants. The suite was lovely and well-equipped (but beware the stocked fridge). Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent but expensive. Feinsteins nightclub was excellent (and their current act is getting great reviews). The limo desk in the lobby was double the price of flagging a limo outside the front door. The neighborhood was lovely, peaceful and very walkable--really a great section of Manhattan. Overall we loved our stay. Enjoy!
