Going to HH May 3 - Questions!

DH and I are making our first trip to HH next month and can't wait!! We do have a couple of questions that we're hoping you can help us with..
1) Will we be plagued by the dreaded no see um's??
2) It sounds like most restaurants are very casual - do we need to have "dress up" clothes or will slacks/shirt for DH and casual dress for me be okay?
3) Some folks have mentioned a camp fire and barbeque at Disney HH. Does anyone know if this will be happening in May?

Tommy's web site has info on the no-see-um's. I don't recall a big problem in late May but on that trip, I stayed on the beach, not near the marsh.

You will be very comfortable in "resort casual." Slacks for him, a dress or slacks/blouse for you will be fine at most restaurants on the island. Some are more casual, a handful dressier. Think boating, tennis, golf & beach... sporty casual.

The campfires are offered year-round. The barbecues are seasonal - don't know when they start up again. Sorry.

You are sure to enjoy your May trip to HH! Wish I could go! Have fun!

They had a "Low Country Shrimp Boil" on Saturday at the resort for about 20.00 per person. We left on that day and were not able to attend.

I am not sure if it will be available in May.
