Going to DW in Sept. 2014

[1ST time at DW]

Hubby is retired military, so we can save on lodging and park tickets, it would be sweet to get free dining, Should I wait until FD dates are announced and then book ressies at one of the moderates, or should I book ressies first, how are in advance should I book. Thanks
