Hi everyone!

I'm going to DW in January with my husband who has never been. Actually we'll be going on our honeymoon there. We are going January 8-14. I've always gone during CHristmas week or in the summer. Does anyone know what January is like? Is it crowded? Really cold or nice weather? Also, does anyone know where Cinderalla and Prince Charming can be found so we can take a picture with them? What about Stitch (I can never find him). I want this trip to be magical for my soon-to-be hubby and I! Thanks :earboy2:

it can be like 40 to maybe 80. usually in that time of jan we have had a day or 2 of cold weather and the rest nice...the cold can be 50 or last time it was upper 30s & windy during the day( which must have been unusual as they kept talking about it like it was a big deal, but we are from Ohio and needed and wore our winter coats), just for 2 nights and 1 day. so you really need to bring layers you can add or subtract. it's cool enough at night to need a sweatshirt most nights. it hasn't rained though and the crowds are nonexistent...our longest wait was about 15 mins at tot on evening. we really like it that time cause while it's changeable weather you just have to prepare for it.

edited cause i just remembered...it did rain one night when that cold front came in ( the night we got there) so it hardly :) rained while we were there

If you have only been in the summer and at Xmas you will think you have died and gone to heaven....no crowds, geen and sunny (never know about the weather...like the previous poster said...do layers

It is the perfect time to go.

BTW, I have never seen Prince Charming out and about at the parks...only at parades and shows...sorry

Our favorite time to go! We practically had the parks to ourselves in January. The weather can be a little testy but we have also had bad weather in May and February too, so weather is one of those unpredictable things. I don't remember it being rainy, but it can be cool early morning or evening so remember to set out in the morning with a sweatshirt.

Have a great trip!

We are going in Jan too (14-21). While we have never been in Jan, we went in Feb one year. It was pretty chilly in the morning but warmed up enough in the afternoon to take off our sweatshirts and jacket. The morning we left to come home, we were all in shorts. When we got home that evening, it was snowing in NC. We stopped at our in laws before we got home and they thought we were nuts wearing shorts in the snow!

we were there for my husband to do the marathon and it was in the 80's. was great watching folks swim in the evenings! even with all the runners it was not bad (we stayed days after the runners left and it was bare!) we are going jan 06 towards the end of the month at akl for a slower paced week. ::MickeyMo
