Hi everyone!

I just found this message board. I have posted on another site's board and I have found that it is very helpful.

We are going to Disney World in 6 days!!!! Our group is: me, my dh, my son (8), my daughter (4), and my parents.

Our trip is a gift from my parents (I have some awesome parents!!!) We are staying at the All-Star Movie Resort with the Ultimate Park Hopper Pass. We chose this because we will have unlimited access to Disney Quest (my son's treat). My daughters treat is Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast. We got our PS the first time we tried (luck is on our side).

We will be there for a week. I have our "plan" mapped out. But how much we get done depends alot on how big the crowds are. Has anyone been around this time? or been recently?

I have another question, how do you all get the timer thingy at the bottom of the screen? That is really cool

Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you all.

Anne

Hi Anne,

Welcome to the DIS. You will find a ton of useful info on this site. It sounds like you've already done a good bit of research since you knew how to book CRT. I beleive the end of April is a good month to go to DW. I'm pretty sure you'll have low crowds and will be able to get a lot done.

If you post your itinerary here we'll be able to give you our thoughts and advice on it.

Also, check out www.mousesavers.com for info on discounts (including car rental discounts). Check out this site (www.wdwinfo.com) and www.allearsnet.com for lots of general info, photos, tips, and even menus of restaurants.

If you haven't done so already, make some PS for the restaurants you want to eat at. Don't go crazy since it can get excited and you may want to stay a little flexible. But, if there's a restaurant or two you know you want to try make your PS now. I definitely recommend trying one of the restaurants in WS at Epcot on the day you go to Epcot. Try something you won't find at home like Morrocco, Norway or Germany.

Don't miss the closing activities at the parks (Fantasmic at MGM, Wishes at MK, and Illuminations at Epcot). They are great.

Learn how to best use Fast Pass. It can really cut down on time spent standing in line. Cgeck your FP ticket as it will tell you when you can get your next FP (it may be sooner than your return time). Get a second FP before using the first so that the clock starts running on that one as soon as possible.

Feel free to post any other questions here. Don't worry if you think it's a dumb question (the only dumb ones are the ones not asked) or if you think it's probably been asked a million times (like "what is TTC?"). People will be more than happy to answer your question and we won't laugh at you. Actually, we'll probably be a little jealous since you will be there in a week and the rest of us have to wait longer to go back.

Good luck with your planning.

Have an awesome first Disney trip; the time will go by too fast. Don't miss the fantasmic show at Disney-MGM; it's awesome. The Tower of Terror and the Star Wars ride are also great and don't miss out on It's Tough to Be a Bug at Animal Kingdom.

Two restaurants I recommend highly:

The Brown Derby at Disney-MGM. The Cobb salad is great.

Also Boma's at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
