I just found out we are going to DL on Valentine's DAy. We got the 3 day park hopper. I haven't been in 4 yrs....so I feel like a newbie again.

I need to ask Jet Blue what their policy is on bringing a stroller or I wonder if I can bring a wagon? I have a 7 yr old and a 17 month old and it would be great for the 7 yr old to use a wagon...however, I am afraid it won't be convenient at Disney...what do you think?

The strollers that DL have to rent...are they big enough for a 40 lb 7 yr old as well? If I were to get this Visa card would I be able to get it in time and where do I apply for it?

Will my 17 month old who is like 32 inches tall be able to go on any rides with us. I am not talking about the thrill rides but the ones like small world, etc.

Does anyone know what the weather will be like during that time?

Do you think the parks will be very crowded...that is President's Day weekend. We will be mostly going on Sunday and Monday.

If I need to breastfeed my toddler are people going to say things about me nursing a toddler in the open?

I'm afraid I can't answer many of your questions as I am not a mommy! But I am afraid to say that President's Day Weekend will be crowded. I believe that is the only weekend they will be showing fireworks for the time being.

No wagons allowed, stick with the stroller or get a Disney Visa and get 2 free stroller rentals per day. :) You can apply online at Chase.com or search for disney visa and you'll get hits. The strollers are big enough for a 7 y.o. but my kids have never wanted to use one, even at 6 or 7 they walked. :) I'm sure the parks will be crowded, as Deluxe Apers we are blacked out that weekend.

will you find out if you are approved right away for a disney visa or will they let you know via mail/email?

I've found most of the rides have no height requirement so your little one should have fun. As for breastfeeding in public, you will always have those that give looks and those who are supportive, disney is no different. I usually breastfeed with a blanket covering part of my daughters head and breast and I didn't have any problems.

With a 17 month old - I would simply bring my own stroller and gate check it. You can only take the park rentals to the security checkpints, so it's not useful when you need it most - getting back to the hotel. Plus it gets you through the airport easier in the long run. Wagons are definitely not allowed in DL.

I nursed during shows and longer rides, too. Small World is a good one to nurse on. I also loved to go into the Animation building in DCA to nurse. Basic discretion is needed in public situations - use your best judgement.

You will be told right away if approved. If not, then they say they will contact you by mail after further processing, blah blah.

I love getting the free stroller and will get one this trip, even though my 6 year old weighs like 68 pounds. Mostly he will walk, but I would not be surprised if he curled in it when his legs got tired. But Mom will have a place to put blankets and coats, because it looks like we will be needing it!

Weather is looking wet.
