Thanks for the tip on FD&D - they are so impressive! I'm new to the Dis (first post!), but not to Disney. Even so I find it difficult trying to navigate the best deals there! I've sent in a request for a quote from them - here's hoping they can get me a better deal than the one I have now once the Disney travel agent site is working again...
It's Fairytale Dreams & Destinations - they're in Bolton, ON. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpfulAlso, they can make all your ADRs if you like (it's great, no long distance charges for me and our agent was able to get us everything we wanted at the times we wanted - AND, she booked our ADRs for us on her day off because that day happened to be our 90 days!!)!
Welcome Scotty! You are going to have such fun. We are taking the kids at 6 and 9 this time, it seems a great age to try just about everything.
Does Christine (owner of FD&D) take days off?? I email her all the time and have gotten replies at midnight on the weekend--starting to worry about that girl! ;-) She booked our DCL cruise in 07, our first, and made it easy. She's also doing our trip this time, and she's been very helpful. And we're in Nova Scotia--I don't think we've even spoken this time, it's all email and muuuuch easier than dealing with someone local.
We used a CAA agent the first time, we went to WDW and even as rookies we knew SOOOO much more than she did.![]()
Scotty, just one thing I have to recommend--I have just rearranged a lot of my plans b/c dd wants to go back to Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique. I should've known. It's a really magical experience for little girls...you might want to look into it.

Hello all I was just wondering what is the weather like in mid April to the end of April?? Thanks hope someone can help out.......
We've been to WDW twice during that same week. The weather was great both times - high 20's during the day and low 20's at night. April is also one of the driest months in Orlando. We didn't see any rain during either of our trips.
The crowds were relatively heavy, but not ridiculous. Spring break actually falls on that week for some US states. On both of our trips we noticed a lot of families from NY and Boston.
To avoid the crowds, the single biggest piece of advise that every planning book will give you is to get to the parks as soon as they open and ride the most popular attractions first. You'll get more accomplished during the first 1-2 hours than any other time of the day. As it continues to get crowded, take a break from the heat and crowds for lunch and/or a swim, then return later in the day.
Also, if your kids enjoy water parks, skip the Parkhopper option and use the savings for the Waterpark & More option instead. Watch the weather for a hot day and plan a visit to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach - they're both great.
Just curious - which resort are you staying at?
I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter what you choose!
