Happy planning for your 30th in WDW. I am planning my 35th bday in DLR in December this year. My bday is the 22nd of Dec but I am going the first week of December, there is no way I will go to DLR 3 days before Christmas. Happy December Birthday!

Yeah, I'm going to face the Christmas WDW crowds for my b-day. Let's hope that I make it out alive! And if you went over to see my WDR TR, you're going to see how spoiled that I was by the low crowd levels on my last WDW vacation.

Since I'm such a park commando person and am next going during the busiest week of the year... my next TR may be written from the confinements of a padded cell.

I'm glad you enjoyed my trip report. Yeah, sadly, Tiff is not fictional.
We are no longer on speaking terms as we had a huge fall-out between my writing of the next-to-the-last-day and the last day of the TR. I learned the hard way to only let good friends come with you on a vacation such as that. Tiff and I were just 'work friends' and not 'friends friends' but I thought her to be a pretty cool person and was excited when she showed interest to go. Oh well, lesson learned.

With travel companions I've realized it's not so much about wanting to see the same things as having the same style of travel. Take my dh for example - he's not going on our DL trip with the kids and me in June

I also have really good friends that I would never travel with. I get annoyed when the rest of my party can't get going in the mornings, then I get annoyed with myself for becoming annoyed. And when it comes to Disney....well, I dream of the day I can make a solo trip!

Thanks for sharing your TR! I always tell people that much like there are some people you can be friends with, but not ever want to live with, Disney is very similar. Some people just don't do Disney like those who love it and that can be a tough situation. I'm glad you still managed to have a great time!
