We just decided to go to Disneyworld next Monday for 5 nights. I will be 30 weeks pregnant but feel great and have lots of energy! Tell me I am not crazy for going. We are staying at CSR and plan on lots of pool time and relaxing. Not running all day in the parks.

I have never done Walt Disney WORLD pregnant but I was 34 weeks pregnant when my company had their annual picnic at Disneyland. I waddled around a lot and went on a whopping 2 rides - Pirates and iasw. Had a wonderful time.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Make your family realize and accept that you are going to need to sit sometimes. Bring your own snacks so that if you're suddenly ravenous you don't need to stand in a line to get something.

Not to make you nervous, but I gave birth to my beautiful daughter at 35 weeks. I'm pretty sure she liked hearing It's A Small World and wanted to come out early to see what all the fuss was about.

I went to Disney 25 weeks pregnant and commando toured. I think a slower touring plan would be fine at 30 weeks.

I am going at 27 months, and my doctor says as long as everything is progressing well that I should be fine. Make sure to stay hydrated, and have some down time.

She also told me the 3rd trimester is one of the best times to go do something like that. She is a WDW fan and goes a lot and said she can not see the harm in many of the rides, she is only worried about the big ones (Space, Splash, Dinosaur), she even thinks the safari should be fine.

I heart my doctor :)

You should be ok. Remember to hydrate and dress in cool clothes. Just listen to your body. You will know what to do.

You'll be fine - I travelled from the UK to do WDW at 32/33 weeks and had a blast!

Go have fun :thumbsup2

You'll be fine :) I did it at about 32 weeks and I just took lots of sitting breaks, wore comfortable shoes and did my best to stay hydrated. I actually had a wonderful time with the exception of the stomach bug I got from my daughter who had been sick just a few days before we left. Yeah, 7 months pregnant throwing up in a hotel bathroom (think hard tile floors on poor pregnant knees). That was a bummer.

I did it at 20 weeks and my ankles got very swollen and my feet burned. I'd go back mid-day to just elevate my feet which was lovely.

Sounds to me like you're doing it right! I did not travel to WDW while pregnant but I was very active, even went to a wedding on the due date and a concert AFTER my due date, staying out until 2 am. If you feel good and are flexible with changing your day if you do get swelling, tiredness, etc., you'll be fine. What a magical way to help welcome baby :lovestruc

I'm 27 weeks now and would do just about anything for a trip to Disney right now!! Enjoy it :)

I took my wife last May-June when she was around 30 weeks I think. Got lots of tips from her ob/gyn who loves Disney World and told us all about how his wife dealt with it while pregnant and when nursing. Look into the baby care centers ahead of time, stay hydrated, keep your feet elevated whenever possible, get comfy shoes, etc. The only hitch we had was she got a cold around the 4th or 5th day. The dr tried prescribing her something but we always used a pharmacy at a store they don't have in Florida so we had to just settle for OTC medicines. She ended up staying in bed one day and the last day was a little rough for her but only a half day. She actually credits the trip for helping her to actually weigh less after giving birth than she was before getting pregnant! Just talk with your ob/gyn beforehand. As others have said, early in the third trimester is one of the best times to go when pregnant.

Hey! I am in a similiar situation. We leave Saturday for Disney, but I am only 16 weeks. Kind of figures, my DD-3 is now tall enough for a lot more rides this trip vs. last trip and I won't be able to go on them with her =/

Still excited - looking forward to the yummy food ;)

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks everyone! I am so excited!!

We went when DW was pregnant and I bought her a couple of disney shirts for the trip.
