We are in the planning stages for our trip in March and I was wondering what you think (or input from anyone who has done this) about staying at Vero and travelling to Disney a couple of times to do the parks.
Our last visit we did 5 nights at VB and 5 nights at VWL. We loved VB and we were considering 7 nights at VB and 3 nights at BCV to do a couple of Theme Park days. However I was thinking it might be easier to just stay put at VB (instead of packing up, travlleing, checking in etc.) and travel up a couple of times. This would also give us more flexibility since we could spread the theme park days out and adjust the days we go based on the weather (i.e. Warm sunny day - Vero, Cool cloudy day - Disney) We did the drive back in Feb. 2003 so if I remember correctly it takes about 1 1/2 hours.
So basically what I'm wondering is am I crazy to add on that kind of travel to an already action packed theme park day? Your thoughts, opinions, experience etc. would be appreciated.
By the way we have two boys who will be 10 and 7 when we go. (yikes when did they get that old).
Thanks,
Cygnus
