Going to be at POP 9/29-10/8? Then get to know who you're vacationing with here!

Hey guys, what's up? Fav CS place, I think would have to be Tusker House. What is it with Animal Kingdom, they dont have any TS resturants, but they have the best CS in all of WDW, if you ask me anyway. Anyway, glad to see we've got some Lost fans here. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, and I'll likely be sitting in my room alone when the new season starts... but I can't wait to see it. Or, I might just break down and pay for a night of internet connection in my room, and download the episode from iTunes and watch it after hours. We can have a mini Lost party.

Anyway, anyone here seen the new Pirates movie yet? What are your thoughts about it?

Also, not sure if this one has been asked yet, but what's your favorite song from a Disney attraction, past or present?

I'm not sure if it really counts as a song since it has no words, but I really like the music from Soarin'. It is just so relaxing.

Sure, Soarin' music counts. I suppose I should have been more specific. What I am really asking is what ride has the music that you enjoy most?

Fave CS - Tangerine Cafe by far

POTC2 - saw it last night, thought it was a fun bit of adventure and a great ad for the Caribbean.

We were at the drive in and the second movie was Cars which I was kinda bored with. It was pretty and the character development was good, but the "moral" seemed too heavy handed for a movie supposedly for all ages. It was more a kid-centric movie.

Hi all,
Just checking in again.See you all there i will be at Pop perferred from the 28 thru oct 7,doing mnsshp on oct 2 and ds will have his birthday there as well, but shh he doesn't know it's a surprise,so don't tell.

Hi, my hubbie and DD9 got to see the Pirates 2 movie today. They liked it but no real ending as it is a set up for movie #3. I had to watch DD2 and I will sneak in to see it after work some night this week ( don't mind going to the movies alone popcorn:: I get to eat ALL the popcorn!)
I can't wait to see Jack Sparrow again pirate:

Rigs-- How cool you still have a drive in movie! Our town did away with ours when I hit 17/18 years old but I loved going to all the James Bond movies with my Dad and family.

Hope everyone had a good weekend :thumbsup2 :drinking1 :music: :beach:

Fav CS so far is Flame Tree - but I will be trying the Tusker House this time around

LOVE the music from the HM!

Did I hear Lost party?? :rotfl2:

Anyone doing the waterparks on their visit? we've never been to either and are thinking about doing one!!

DH and I are thinking of going to TL... We want to try the snorkling with the fish..... We have never been to either water park but is on the list this trip... We are thinking we'd go Oct 2 in the AM and MNSSHP in PM.....

~Wyndi

:wave2: Hi Wyndi! that sounds like fun! we haven't picked outa day yet, first we have to decided whether or not to do it and hten we have to see how it fits into our dining plans :teeth: and go from there!! :yay:

I don't think we're doing the waterparks....Since this is a surprise trip for my girls, I kinda can't ask them...it was a choice between water park and SeaWorld...since it's been 6 years since we've made it to SeaWorld I decided to opt for that. Hopefully Imade the "right" choice!

That should be fun! we're waiting until our 2 are older for Sea World!

though i am tempted to take them to Univeral (AUGHHH!!! i can't believe i just said that) ONLY cause DD loveees Dora!! i'm just not wanting to waste the money only for that, since we're not HUGE Uni people.

We've been to BB, and really enjoyed it! It was, let's see, about 2 years ago, I think. The big slide...uhhh..forget the name...the one that looks like a ski jump, it's cool, but you do get a heck of a wedgie from it! Other than that, it was a lot of fun with lots of good slides and a great lazy river.

We may go to a water park this trip, but I just don't know. We'd like to try TL, since we've never been there. I thought about the day of MNSSHP, but I know how the sun and water affect both DH and I...we'd be wiped out and too sleepy to really enjoy ourselves that night, I think. Something about the water just makes us both sooooo tired!

And to catch up on the questions...favorite CS would be Columbia Harbor House, because most people don't know you can go upstairs to eat so it's never crowded! Favorite music would be Journey Into Imagination (the OLD version!) because I can sing that song all day long! LOL! :)

oh I hear you Michelle! WHen my oldest (now 11) was 4 we spent 2 days at Universal...because she adored Barney (BLEEECH)....I saw that blasted show 6 times!

:lmao: AHAHAHAH!!! that's funny!!!!!

Barney came on the other day on TV and I DOVE i mean i tucked, rolled and dove into the living room to change the channel before she could get hooked by the subliminal messages :teeth:

it would have been a shame to have wasted 18 months of keeping her away from that darn purple dino!!!

Last year we did both BB and TL with my DD (6) and DS (8)

IMO TL is better for little kids (4 and younger) the play area is more suited to younger ones than BB's kid area. Also BB I believe has more slides/rides that require a height restriction.

Plus TL has more shaded areas to sit
