Going to Applebees Tom'w Need Help

Hey gang! We are going to Applebee's tomorrow for lunch and I am just ok about their WW's lunch selections. I would like to order off of the regular menu, but I need some help with what to get. I like everything, except avacado and I don't want to eat fish.

Yes, I am on WW's. I guess I should rephrase my dilema ~ let me start over. I am just getting nervous about going out to eat and blowing my progress.

I have tried the Tango Chicken Sandwich (there was nothing to it) and the Mesquite Chicken Salad (it was ok).

I don't like Talapia, but I am interested in shrimp dishes. Are they any good? or I would even be interested in getting the Tortilla Chicken Melt.

But in the event that I cave what off of the regular menu is safe to order?

They list the points for a lot of restaurants' foods. If I'm going out, I usually print out the list of points & take it with me.

I have been to Dotties web site a lot. I am just looking for personal choices.

I can't specifically help you because I've only been to Applebee's twice (I don't really care for them). From what I've been reading, it's all about portion control. Most restaurant servings are way to big and what we should be eating is closer to what is served for appetizers.

So, order an appetizer that you like (stay away from fried stuff). Or get a regular meal and promise yourself you will only eat half.

I had the Teriyaki Shrimp Skewers off the WW menu & thought they were pretty good.

I guess if I ordered off the reg menu I'd do the blackened chicken salad (smaller portion) with dressing on the side, no cheese, etc..
