I ate at Alfredo about two years ago and vowed never to eat there again. The restaurant's signature dish was way too heavy in my opinion, and I didn't like the flavor either. It turns out I am visiting the world in sept. with a large group and for one of our Epcot days the group voted to have lunch at Alfredo (by an overwhelming majority I might add, mine was the only vote against). Am I the only one who hates Alfredo? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

We like Alfredo's but have not been back for years. I find the price is too high for the quality. My sister on the other hand believes the Fettucini Alfredo is the best she has ever had.

Years ago we loved Alfredo's. Their menu had more offerings -- now its very limited. Many items on the menu are heavy.
I agree w/ you their signatur dish is nothing to write home about. A heavy dish to eat then tour Epcot.

No chance of changing peoples minds???

My family doesn't like Alfredo's at all. But if you are going for lunch you can have pizza...and it takes a really special place to mess up pizza...Alfredo's isn't that special.

No your not the only one. We were there last July and didn't like it at all.

I refuse to go back to Alfredo's, BUT I guess I would go if the people in my party really wanted to. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.:confused3

:( We have a PS at Alfredos for August. Now I am a little worried. We will probably still go since I would like to form an opinion on my own, but it is not looking good. I was thinking of ordering the sampler plate.

Exactly! You have to try it for yourself to form an opinion. It may turn out to be a great experience for you. On my last trip, I ate at Tony's in the MK. At the time, all the Tony's reviews were negative. I kept my PS because I wanted to see for myself. Glad I did because it was really good. Have fun!:D

Despite people advising us to skip it, we went for lunch in May 2004 and it was no surprise-horrible. My food was so heavy and gross I barely ate it. My DH's chicken in his caesar salad wasn't fully cooked. We will never go there again. Have to say our waiter was fabulous though! Good luck!

You know, I actually like the food at Alfredo's. It's the service that never fails to disappoint for me. In fact, last year it was so bad I had to vow not to return. I thought my family and I were draped in that magic cloak tha Harry Potter has where he can turn invisible. The invisible cloak came over us after I rejected our server's suggestion of ordering the most expensive item and wine list on the menu. It's not that I would not pay the high price for these items, I just had no taste for them at that moment. Anyways, it all worked out. The server found an "almost" invisible cloak over his tip!

We love Alfredo's..and we found the fettucine alfredo to be extremely wonderful..fresh parm reggiano..how can you go wrong and with homemade pasta to boot.

Your group voted correctly, go and enjoy!

I second your sister's vote. I've tried it at several restaurants since eating at Alfredo's and none compare.

I also love Alfredo's! Love the Fettucini and Lasagna. I have only had wonderful service there. This is a must do for us each trip. Even my daughter likes it and she is pretty picky. Enjoy:mickeybar

Another thumbs up for Alfredos.
Been there with relatived from Italy and they also raved.
I suspect that most who dislike the food come from parts of the country that only serve BAD Italian food (Every where except NY and NE). We have always gotten good service there but that seems to be more the issue, I think its the luck of the Draw of the Waiter/Waitress.
The only Bad service we ever experienced in WDW was at Chefs de France.

I'm another one who likes Alfredo's. We've been there twice and both were good meals. The last time I had their sampler plate (tricolore or something like that) which had lasagna, the alfredo, and a spinach linguine with a sauce which I forget.

Love 'Fredo's::yes:: I would say if you didn't like it two years ago, you probably won't like it now. It's worth a try. Maybe you'll be more in the mood this time. Please let us know what you think:earsboy:

Like Alfredo's will not eat at again.:wave2:

If you are sure you really will not like it but want to go because of your group - why not get one or two appetizers for yourself and a dessert and/or drink that appeals to you.

Usually I find that even at a so-so restaurant the appetizers can be better than the main dishes, plus, you won't be stuffed.

We've had one great experience at Alfredo's (years ago) and one not so great more recently.

Lousy lousy food. Please don't call this Italian cusine. I have tried it on several occasions. Yuck. Good luck!:(
