Going State side?

[Disney Ontario]

December 9th my family are going for our annual state side christmas shopping. I think this will be our 5th or 6th year. But first time ever, DD's boyfriend is coming. Now what shall I buy? ? ? ? .

We always pick up the different Mac and Cheese,eg Scooby Doo. Got to check out the scrapbooking too. Would love to have all my christmas shopping done by then, but thats a joke . I want to check out the price of Disney tvs.

What other things are there that we don't carry yet?

Hey runner26.2 . They do sell Jiff here in Canada. I live in southern Ontario and have spotted it a local grocery stores, and I am sure at Walmart.

I buy a large jar of Jif weekly at Walmart for $3.96 Canadian. They started selling it about 3 years ago. Thank goodness because I was sick of dragging tons of it home from every trip stateside.

Don't forget Darlene ~ you have to buy Peanut Butter Capt'n Crunch ~ if only we could get that in Canada it would safe my duty free allowance about $10!!!

Bath and Body Works!!

They have their big sale right after christmas.....everything half price.

I buy tons on sale and give it as gifts...to others and myself!


Target!!!!! My absolute favorite store!

And...if you live on the east coast....Christmas tree shops in New England! They are NOT just a christmas store!

Its worth the drive just to go to the Target Dollar spot inside Target.

I myself love Krusteaz baked good kits. They are great! The orange Cranberry muffin mix it great. At Target the last time I was there they had large sized kits of Krusteaz kits of sugar cookies that came with everything you would need to decorate the cookies and made like 3 batches. We ended up getting the Ghiradelli Shortbread kit. Well worth it. Dh took some to work for a pot luck and people were asking him for my recipie. He gave them directions to Target

Im Pooh sized so I go to the Old Navy at Walden Galleria because they have a Plus size section and that Mall also has a Torrid in it.

DH hates to shop but loves to come to the states with me. Were going on the 10th for his birthday actually ( that's why I cant go to the Dis meet in Mississauga) He wants to go to Fudruckers for lunch and go to Target.

You can buy Krusteaz at Sam's Club here in Canada. They really are good!

Hey SaraMc We we also be state side but only on the 9th,then staying Down on the Canadian side . Thats why I can't make to Dis gettogether too.

If you like scooby doo macaroni you have got to try scooby doo graham wafer snacks by keebler. They actually look like dog bones, honey flavour is our favourite. My kid's friends ask for them when they are over, they are a hit!

Okay, I'm on the other side of the line, and when my family comes to visit, they always stock up on the sugar free stuff they can't get at home (especially since mom's diabetic). Also Hershey "Swoops" and these microwaveable one bowl brownie and cake kits (maybe Betty Crocker?). We always hit the SuperTarget (with the grocery store inside) and I've never gotten her out in less than 2 hours.

On the flip side, I won't even let my family through my front door until they've shown me the bag of Coffee Crisp (man I miss those chocolate bars!)
