Going On Saturday!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyone out there flying from Gatwick on Saturday (I think you are Deb aren't you?) - have just checked the 5 day weather forecast and it looks like we have sunshine on Saturday - but when I checked the weather at Orlando Intnl - OMG Horror of Horrors - its black cloud, thunder and rain. I am terrified of flying and have never flown in a storm - has anyone else experienced this? What's it like? The weather in Atlanta (where we first stop off) is just black cloud - I think I can cope with that LOL.

HELP ADVICE NEEDED GETTING REAL NERVOUS NOW AND ITS TAKING THE EDGE OF OUR TRIP (SAD I KNOW BUT CAN'T HELP IT)

Don't you start Paula, I'm nervous enough without you worrying me anymore (lol) We'll be fine and anyway if their weather forecasts are anything like ours over here we will have nothing to worry about.

We can keep each other entertained on the flight and let our DH's look after the kids - what do you say to that (haha)

Absolutely mate - I am getting so excited I can't think straight at work (and so can't bothered to do any LOL) Might get a little bit drunk Friday night seeing as though I am going to try and stay off the alcohol Saturday and drink WATER !!!

Well, I think you both sound VERY organised

We've flown in thunderstorms a couple of times, once into Orlando and once into a tiny island in the Philippines. Orlando - no problem, they're used to it - they just made us circle a couple of times and then we landed. In the Philippines, we just landed It WAS fun

I had a look at a 10 day forecast for Orlando yesterday (yahoo I think it was) and they're giving out sunny, with a bit of cloud and 30% risk of thunderstorms . . . so you should be ok
